Morning Coffee Smoothie Recipe
This Coffee Smoothie Recipe is the perfect caffeine-kick for those groggy mornings when you just need five more minutes in bed.
Not only will it give you a morning boost, this smoothie is also full of whole grains, protein, and potassium - everything you need to go from 0 to fully functioning adult in minutes.
- 1 frozen banana, chopped
- 2/3 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled overnight (or cold brew coffee if you have it on hand - we like the Starbucks one)
- 1/2 cup unsweetend vanilla oat milk
- 1/3 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- Spoonful of cashew nut butter (or almond butter)
Add all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Add an extra splash of oat milk if too thick, add a few ice cubes if too runny. Serve immediately.
